Misericordia hosts Heart  of Mercy Ball

The Misericordia Women’s Board Heart of Mercy black-tie ball was held Friday, Nov. 11, at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago. More than 650 people attended, which raised more than $600,000 for Misericordia Home, Heart of Mercy in Chicago.

The Rev. Monsignor Michael M. Boland received the Sister Rosemary Connelly Service Medallion. The Brian and Sue Shannon Family, of Burr Ridge, received the Heart of Mercy Award.

In addition to the sit down dinner, guests participated in a silent and live auction and enjoyed the music of the Ken Arlen Orchestra.

All of the money raised supports Misericordia Home, Heart of Mercy in Chicago which is home to more than 600 children and adults with developmental disabilities.
