Sept. 8 ‘Word Play’ workshop OP Arms

A workshop called “Word Play” will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave. The public is invited.
Presented by Lisa Markwart of the Light Verse Foundation, the workshop concerns the origin of words, palindromes and rebuses. Word games, brain teasers and puzzles will delight participants.
