‘Sing We Joyous!’ party set for Dec. 15 in Oak Park

Oak Park — First United Church of Oak Park is inviting the community to its Christmas party and concert, “Sing We Joyous!” on Saturday at the church, 848 Lake St. in Oak Park.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. with a silent auction and treats, followed by the concert at 7:30 p.m. The festivities continue with more silent auction items, treats, sing-along Christmas carols and dancing, and “The Twelve Days of Christmas.”

Tickets at the door cost $20 for adults; $15 for seniors and students; and $50 for families. Group discounts are offered for groups of 10 or more. Free child care is provided.

The program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
