River Forest police blotter for Nov. 12

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the River Forest Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

THEFT

Dominique Davis, 20, of 507 Clayton Ave., Hillside was arrested the evening of Nov. 7 and charged with felony theft, while a 16-year-old Chicago boy was petitioned with burglary to a vehicle. Davis allegedly took someone’s iPhone, and when the victim took chase, the juvenile allegedly took a purse from the victim’s car. Davis was held in lieu of 10,000 bond and had a Nov. 15 court date. The boy was later turned over to a parent.

DRUGS

Brent O. Burge, 23, of 1857 S. Karlov, Chicago, was arrested at 2:07 a.m. Nov. 6 on the 1100 block of North Harlem Avenue and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. He was ordered held in lieu of $10,000 bond and has a Nov. 29 court date.

Megan F. Fernandez, 23, of 5012 W. Dakin, Chicago was arrested at 3:21 a.m. Nov. 8 and charged with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on the 7900 block of North Avenue. She was held for a bond hearing. Also following the traffic stop, Joanna Jasinska, 20, of 2929 N. 75th Ave., Elmwood Park, was charged with aggravated speeding and no valid driver’s license. Jasinska was released after posting bond. Two 17-year-olds in the car, one from Elmwood Park and one from Chicago, were cited for local ordinance curfew violations and released to their parents.

ALCOHOL

Tabitha L. Doty, 21, of 1055 W. Dakin, Chicago was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, reckless driving, aggravated speeding, two counts of disobeying a stop sign and disobeying a traffic control signal early morning Nov. 11 following a traffic stop at Marion and Chicago in Oak Park. She was released on bond.

Jessica F. Milasius, 32, of 9716 Schiller Blvd., Franklin Park was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, aggravated speeding and having no insurance at about 4:15 a.m. Nov. 11 following a traffic stop on the 1300 block of Harlem Avenue. She was released on bond.
